Much of a muchness

Things that make you go 'hmm'…

Meerkat? Schmeerkat…

Forget the meerkat pix. I now have a new candidate for cutest animal on the planet. My new puppy.

Meet the new man in my life. He is as yet un-named but the boys and I are on the case. He is a Bichon Frise, 10 weeks old and completely irresistible. Luckily, I can type with him on my lap but I’m not sure about making books…

WHAT?? You can’t make books with him on your lap?? Then he has to go. LOL!

He is THE cutest pup since…uh, Benji? ;)

Can’t wait to hear his new name (better hurry before he starts to answer to “hey you”!).

Extremely cute. This is the exact type of dog my mom has been trying to get my Dad to let her buy for years! I may be asking you questions about temperament, etc.

    Adorable.

I love his little black nose and cute eyes….
    he’ll be spoilt….for sure!!!!

Teresa – at the moment he is called ‘Puppy’. The boys keep emailing me long lists of names but we can’t all seem to agree on one! Maybe I should put it to the vote on here!

SW – he is SO well behaved, sat in a canvas bag in the car for nearly 2 hours on the way home and no little ‘accidents’. He also seems to have setled in at home very quickly. Let’s hope the good ‘accident’ record continues :-)

    DP – non-moulting, hypo-allergenic too. And he’s organic :-)

Kim – ‘fraid so. The boys are very keen to get home to see him, so I can see he is going to be a hit with them. They have been nagging me to get a dog for ages….

Oh my god!! sooooo cute! Now you won’t be able to skip the country at a moment’s notice! Not that you would want to with that cute little bundle to keep you amused.I wonder what you will call him?
    Love

oh my – he is adorable!!! Aren’t puppies the greatest thing? Ours just turned one and is full-grown. I miss the puppy stage but it’s nice when they start to mature a little too.

  8. Diane October 20, 2008 at 6:42 pm

Helen and Andrew – great to hear from you! I intend to get puppy a pet passport! Have dog, will travel!
Plus the boys are falling over themselves to offer to puppy sit, so I don’t think I’ll be having any problems… :-)
Besides, I hope to head ‘down under’ sometime soon – you have been warned :-)

Yes, Diane! Vote, vote, vote!! ;)

“Puppy” is better than “hey you”…LOL!

What names are in the running? We used to have a little white dog (West Highland White Terrier) that we named Spackle. You know after the white fluffy stuff you use to plug holes in the wall or in your life…! :-)

    Very cute!

Organic pups are the best I’ve always said ……..

  13. Diane October 22, 2008 at 10:55 am

Teresa – it’s Milo. The cartoon character Tin-Tin had a little dog called Snowy which in French was MIlou, so we anglicized it to Milo….

    Mimi- cute photo, cute pup!
Thanks for the tag I will check it out now…..

writinggb – see above. Neve heard of Spackle! Will check it out! Sounds very useful, do they do man-sized spackle……?

DP – yep! K9 never interested me, you know :-)

Hi Diane! Milo is so cute and fluffy, I just want to pet him right now!!!

I wish you would – then I might get something done! How can something so small be so time consuming? :-)

he is soooo cute and you know life will never be the same again (speaking as the owner of a now 18 month old King Charles spaniel…..adorable but such a lap dog) …oh and she still loves being called ‘puppy’ lol

  17. RennyBA October 27, 2008 at 9:44 pm

Congrats with a new man in your life and what a cuty – soooo white and sweet :-)

  18. Diane October 27, 2008 at 10:18 pm

He’s not so white at the moment. He loves digging in the garden…. :-)

  19. Emmier October 28, 2008 at 6:12 am

How pretty your new man is! :-))) I also want to have some pet but I haven’t decided yet which one to buy.

  20. Diane October 28, 2008 at 9:20 am

He is not quite so pretty at the moment he looks very scruffy! He has just come in from the garden and he is wet and muddy from digging in the grass :-)
I’ve had cats and dogs and I find dogs much better company. The cats I have owned have been very independent and spent much of their time outdoors. Milo likes company and I will be able to take him for walks.
I suppose the choice comes down to which suits your life style the best :-)
