Much of a muchness

Things that make you go 'hmm'…

I’m off!

I’m so excited I am ready early for once and raring to go! Wimbledon awaits. The weather forcast is OK(ish) so I am hoping to see Roger Federer play someone I’ve never heard of (Gicquel anyone?) Cue gratuitous Roger shot….and not even playing tennis :-)

The next match up should be amazing – two Amazonian women players, Amelie Mauresmo against Serena Williams.

What a slugfest that should be. I just hope that Serena doesn’t have to wear her very strange tennis macintosh thing. No rain please!

I’m taking my camera, so even though our seats are so high up we may get nosebleeds, I will take some shots of my day to share the atmosphere with you. I am off to Glastonbury on Saturday so next post won’t be until Monday. #2 son went on ahead to Glastonbury yesterday and it has just started to rain. Why am I not surprised…..

    The rain loves you!

Waiting to see the pics (hopefully won’t be ant-sized players).

wish I was ant-sized then I would be small enough to be smuggled into wimbledon and Glasto!

Have fun! I’m sure it will be a blast. I’m praying for no rain for you :)

I hope Roger wins this one.

As for the Williams sisters, their father, their mother, the whole clan – I’m so sick of them I can’t stand it.

My eye is on Agnieszka Radwanska, from Poland.

    She’s amazing and unflappable.

    Heard it here first

I’m not a tennis fan, but that guy plays tennis? Hmm…perhaps I should start watching.

    Have fun!

Have a grand time watching tennis, feasting your eyes on Federer (what a great pic!), and eating strawberries and cream! And catch those weird tics,,,LOL!

Roger will win this time also.He is the king of Grass court. No one is near him when its Wimbledon. For women single, their is no clear winner as top seeds are loosing and their is tough competition among others.

Ah, man, that is so cool. I’d love to go some day.

BTW, I’ve put you on my blogroll. I’m always reading your comments on strugglingwriter’s blog, and finally it dawned on me, duh, I should link to this cool blogger. :-)

I envy you! Wimbledon is one sport even I would have loved to go to, but never had the chance. I so much remember the good old days when Borg and Macenroe was on the top.

Today I saw a young Danish girl doing good, so the Scandinavians might come back :-)

    Looking forward to the updates!

Wimbledon! That sounds like a dream to me. But then, as Honda said, “A dream is just a dream if you don’t realise it.”

Ah Honda, father of Yoda ….. “May the farce be with you”……….
