Happy blog birthday to me!

It’s my blog’s first birthday today. So I wanted to try to send you a more personal message. I’m using Utterz – sound quality isn’t brill but you get my drift I think!
So in honour of my first blog birthday, I wanted to create an award to thank so many of you who have visited and commented on my blog over the last year and whose blogs I always enjoy visiting. So, deep breath, here we go….

I’m sure I will add to this list as I think of vital people I have missed but to you all – thank you! It’s been a great year and I’m looking forward to next year! Congratulations, one year is a feat! I came unto your site rather late for the year, but to be considered a friend is an honor and a privilege.

Whooo Hooo!!!!!! Great party over here. I brought more cake …. made by “me” with extra vanilla. Go ahead – have a BIG chunk.
I like the HUGS. There is one that is absent though … it’s the “man to man” “man to married woman” hug. These are the instructions.
1. Stand at least one pace apart
2. Quickly reach out and put hands on shoulders
3. Pat twice, look at each other, then look at something else
4. Drag feet on the floor and pull away
5. Change the subject, but also mention why the “hugged” person is nice!
LOL!!!! You can break this rule for dads, realatives, and blogging pals.
I like sunflowers, and their seeds. “If the latter are still in the shell …. that’s too much of a muchness of work”. I like de-shelled, unsalted seeds. The salted ones make me choke :-)
Happy blogging birthday – Diane, got you on my mind. Remember that song?? I wrote it in the 70’s. It’s called H.B.B.D. “the happy blog song” I will sing it to you now, ” Happy blogging birthday – Diane, got you on my mind ”

Pete- unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view!) I don’t have a Dorset accent. I was born in Manchester and have lived all over England and Wales, Kuwait and France so I have a sort of hybrid mixed up sort of English accent :-) Sorry!
