Very pretty book. It looks very well put together.
He he on the Katie Holmes comments. You crack me up! I’m sure the hair will look nice on you.
I’m in the market for new eyeglasses. I normally wear contacts, but they have been bugging me lately. So, I need to get to the eye doctor and pick up some new lenses and a new pair of glasses. I find this somehow exciting. What that says about me, I don’t want to know. This will have to wait until next month, though, after I have made a dent in the credit card bills from Christmas. :)
Tell me about it! By the time you add up the cost of the frames, then varifocal lenses, a non-reflective coating (which apparently is good if you work at a computer a lot), I could have had a week’s holiday in Spain!
But I suppose I wouldn’t have been able to see it….
“But I suppose I wouldn’t have been able to see it….” – he he he. You are on a roll today!
I thank you!
*bows*
I liked that book cover art. My lovely wife likes to do stuff and I showed her your work. She’ll probably be makig covers all afternoon because your work put a bug in her ear.
Nice blog.
Jeff
I’m glad you like it. And I’m glad if I inspire your lovely wife to have a go too! I hope she is feeling well and making a good recovery.
I just had a quick visit to your blog, most of what you talk about whooshes straight over my head but I do have to say your art collection is a quite wonderful. I hope your home is VERY secure! I love so much of it – especially the latest Picasso drawing – quite exquisite :-)
Oh my goodness. Another beautiful journal? You’re like a machine. lol. Well, I do like that hairstyle on you, although I don’t know what yours is right now, so it’s hard to compare. I’m sure you’ll look great in whatever you choose, as long as you like it! I have a friend that tried online dating and found someone that she got married to in the end…I hope you get the same luck!
Cool makeover book n hair wise!
2008 is going to rock for you Diane, we can just smell it…
GO! Diane.
My hair is long, straight and droopy at the moment!
I’m liking what I hear about your friend. I had high hopes for my last online dating experience but it now seems he didn’t feel the same (which might have helped!) Anyway, I am nothing if not optimistic…. :-)
Jim & Em – as they say ‘ From your mouth to God’s ears’ Let’s hope so, didn’t like the way 2007 ended – 2008 must be better. Musn’t it? It started well winning your flower competition so maybe you have brought me luck!
Honestly I’m not so sure you’ll have a problem meeting quality men with your sense of fashion in that picture. Your hair and look is really great. And who says that glasses can’t be sexy? Even if they’re used just for reading?
Online dating isn’t the terrible void that most people make it out to be. I’ve had marginal success myself (don’t tell anyone), only because I tend to get along with intellectuals rather than the typical bar floozie.
Good luck, I wish you well!
Thank you – very kind, I’m blushing. I’ve signed up but can’t bring myself to push the ‘publish’ button, so I am there in spirit but not visible. At least I can scout out the potential….not looking good so far…. :-(
Good luck with the dating thing…
I sometimes ponder the conundrum of whether people on dating sites are really so “bad” or it’s our expectations and desires that simply become pickier and pickier as we age. I know I have certainly grown less and less inclined to “make do” relationships…
wow Diane the book is a perfect match to your site….
love the new hairstyle…should really suit you :)
as for the internet dating ….I think it’s a great way to meet….especially…with the options out there….
here’s to you meeting your soul mate ….
I suspect it’s a combination of both – unreal expectations and not being prepared to ‘make do’!
Guilty as charged! I only want relationships I am prepared to commit fully to, with no reservations at all. I thought I had that last time but it obviously wasn’t a two way thing! Next step is to find someone who thinks as I do! :-)
Kim – the next book is very different! Just about to post it….
I go to hairdressers on 29th – lets see if he can translate a photo into reality – and if my hair wants to play along!
I hate internet dating but it did find me my last two chaps – the second a huge improvement on the first, so let’s hope I can continue the trend :-)
