Pomegranates – very jolly. Not much more to be said about them really. In real life they are irritating things to eat, I think, but I quite like the flavour of pomegranate juice.
I had another review in Ed’s MyBlogLog Sunday post over at ‘The Pisstakers‘. Thank you, Ed, for always finding something fun to write about my blog.
“Some of Diane’s work looks tasty enough to eat, and when I read that one of her calligraphy books had Japanese Chiyogami on the outside, I thought maybe it was literally coated in sushi. Wrong again.”
Sushi coated books – now there’s a thought….

My daughter is always on about getting a pomegranate at the grocery. Unfortunately, the price for them at my local grocer is $2USD each! They aren’t common where I live, but are gaining in popularity. The juice is expensive as well. Nice book, though. :)
I’ve never tasted Pomegranates Diane…though my Dad grew them on our property ,,,and my Grandma used to make jam out of them….
this is very delicious looking and the orange colour looks very fresh against the white background….
We used to have them as a treat when I was young. My mum used to give us a pin to pick the seeds out (health and safety!!) so they were very fiddly things to eat and I was not sure about the crunchy seed in amongst the tasty juicy flesh. It all seemed like too much hard work!
I must try another one and find a less annoying way of eating it! Or just stick to pomegranate juice….
I’ve never eaten a Pomegranates either. They make a nice looking book with the bow and all, though :)
Perhaps I should start selling pomegranates….
What a let down, I thought the book was actually edible. HA!
I love pomegranates
TT – I could make you an edible book, I expect. I could use rice paper for the pages and then cover it with thinly sliced roast beef. Yum. After seeing your blog and your impressive efforts to lose weight I would have thought eating books was the last thing on your mind though!
Well done you :-)
I’m glad someone likes them !
OH MAN! I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to look at your blog. I’ve been missing out. I love this book!
