I needed gold ribbon for this book. I have had trouble finding metallic ribbons that aren’t sparkly especially as Christmas draws near. The shops remove half the normal stock and replace it with the twinkliest, green-red-gold, tartan, holly berried, reindeer festooned nonsense you have ever seen. I suppose I am going to have to overcome my ‘Bah humbug!’ tendencies and make a Christmas book or two. But hey! They are going to be MY kind of Christmas books….I have a plan…
I also have a friend coming round for lunch and the cupboard is bare. I still have to clear all my bookbinding stuff out of the kitchen so it looks vaguely tidy and we can get at the kitchen table, and go to the shops to actually buy said lunch before she arrives. And here I am blogging. See how much it has taken over my life?! So a short post. I leave with this cartoon from Animals have Problems Too which appealed to my sense of humour and simultaneously struck a chord. Hypochondriac? Moi?

Ooops, that’ll be indeedy, inddedy looks like a word one would use in Welsh scrabble! ;-)
Hypochodria! That’s another disease I suffer from!
He he. That camel comic was good.

Dear Jim&Em – Welsh Scrabble – excellent!
SW – Managed to tidy up, buy lunch, serve lunch, gossip our heads off and am now back to deciding the next book. What a predictable life I lead!
You make such beautiful stuff…you really do! As for the camel comic..too funny…I’m sitting here alone in front of the computer screen laughing

Hi Diane! I needed a break from my blog, so I thought I’d hang out here and see what’s up. I love this red and gold book. It’s scrumptious.
No more humbugs! I like the way you “do” Christmas. I need to go check out the other books you’ve done this week. I’ve never seen a book I didn’t like. :D
Hi Plum! Welcome again! I’m glad you like the book – it is quite ‘festive’ isn’t it?
