Calligraphy paper

I’d love to know what this paper says. The gold calligraphy is so beautiful against the black background. I wish I knew which was the right way up ….or what it says. Hope it’s nothing rude!

I’m not in a good mood today. I slept badly last night and had weird dreams and I think I’m getting a cold which doesn’t help. It’s been a cold, grey day, my broadband is being super S-L-O-W, I have writers block and I am fed up of staying in the house waiting for a parcel from the Apple Store to be delivered (which they say was shipped on Monday). They now say it will arrive on the 17th. How is it coming? Strapped to the back of a tortoise? One with a bad leg, coming via the South Pole? Ridiculous. The only good thing is that the parcel is a new laptop which I am very excited about so it makes this delay even more irritating.

So I’m going to finish on a sniffly, grumpy note today. Sorry. I’m off for a hot bath and I’m taking to my bed with a hot drink and my book. I’ll be better tomorrow.

Diane – I like that calligraphy paper a lot.

“Strapped to the back of a tortoise? One with a bad leg, coming via the South Pole?” – he he he. That was awesome.

I hope you feel better tomorrow.

Why, thank you, SW, I’m glad I made you smile but really two weeks to deliver a parcel? Madness.

I am feeling better today, thanks, normal service has been resumed….

Ha ha – very good Kim!

I did get the Chinese seal translated by someone who is working over there and he said it does indeed say ‘Diane’ in traditional Chinese characters, so I am going to use it to sign my books.

I like the changes you are making to your blog Kim, it looks very stylish.

The paper is the right way up as you’ve got it in the photo. :)

Ah! That’s a good start. If there is a right way up then it must be actual characters and so it might actually say something!

I like your blog by the way. Lovely template and your writing is intriguing – more of the story please!
