Things that make you go 'hmm'…

I wish it really was orange blossom time…

I like this paper a lot. It’s one of the papers I bought from Falkiners the other day, a Japanese chiyogami paper. It looks very rich, opulent even.

No other news to report. The weather is cold, raining and windy. The clocks go back an hour tonight so the good news is, an extra hour in bed, and the bad news is, it’s now 5 months of dark nights and winter to look forward to. Enough to make me want to hibernate. I shall just have to make bright books to cheer me up. I did buy some very jolly, colourful papers from Paperchase so maybe those will brighten up these dull days…

Oh I did find this which I thought was fun. It’s a sketch book which starts as a portrait format book and then gradually the pages change shape until it is a landscape format sketch book. Neat.

It’s available from Charles and Marie, who call themselves ‘the quintessential lifestyle navigators’! The book is made in the Netherlands, and is a limited edition of 500 and costs $80/€55. Needless to say, I have already ordered one!

I saw that sketch book listed somewhere the other day and thought it was neat. A little expensive but it would be nice to have.

Also, we are experiencing similar weather as you, but I welcome the cold after the sweltering summer.

It did cross my mind fleetingly that it would be a fun thing to try to make but I decided it would be too tricky cutting the paper so it changed format gradually.

Horrible weather today, I am not going outside at all :-)

It is raining and very windy today – awful. I might just go down to the beach later anyway. I love the sea when the waves are huge and the sea is rough – it’s really exhilarating!

Don’t understand Google PR at all, I can’t quite figure out what mine is and I just looked up Google Page Rank and got pages and pages of a complicated algorithm. Even though I was a mathematician in a former life, I lost the will to live at that point :-)

As long as I enjoy blogging and people read this occasionally I’m happy.

Now, how do I improve my PR………? :-)
