Hi Diane,
Congrats on your award….well deserved too :)
As bloggers, commenting is an essential ingredient and through this medium we all learn from each other.
Love the watercolour paper, looks fantastic and blends really well with the blue and purple.
Colin
And congrats back to you! All this mutual back slapping – I love it! I enjoy responding to comments, it keeps the ball rolling as it were and I think if someone has taken the time to comment then it’s only polite to respond!
Glad you like the book, it’s one I particularly like…
Hi Diane (I guess you know why I remember you name :-) and thanks for the link love!
I’m glad you experience blogshpere as a supportive and friendly community and you really deserves all the support and attention you get.
I wish you a great week ahead:-)
Thank you, Renny, that is very kind of you to say so.
Have a great week too
DianeCA (mark II) :-)
Thanks Diane. It was nice to meet you thru Kim :-)
As Colin mentioned, commenting is a large part in the ‘community’ within blogging. You’ve faithfully visited Kim day in and day out during her competition. You certainly deserved her painting, and this award :-)
Thanks Deborah. I think you are also the subject of one of Kim’s portraits – we are both lucky to have them!
Have a great week :-)
wow Diane what a beaut post….. :0
thanks so much for the pat on the back ….hehehe
had to laugh at your reply to Colin……
“And congrats back to you! All this mutual back slapping – I love it!”
hehehe…it’s such a vicious circle….all this mutual admiration going round and round….
love the blue…positively electric…I would call this geisha blue as the motifs look quite asian ……
btw do you give your books titles for reference…..
Thanks for the linky love. I can’t recall that I’ve ever been here, but I must say I like it very much :-)
And that book looks AWESOME. I really am impressed over your result. I love when things are handmade even though I seldom have the time or strength to do it nowadays myself.
When I was younger I had a lot of books to write in, I did write a lot! Calligraphy too. And I had many penpals! Now I’ve switched that to blogging…. *giggles*
Kim – you are very welcome, you have been such a support, it’s just my way of saying thank you to you.
It is a great shade of blue. I do give the books titles so I can find the photos when I file them away – and once I get my web site going – (coming soon I hope), it will be pretty vital to have a way of identifying them!
Captain L – welcome to my blog and glad you like it. I have just spent a fun 10 minutes over at your blog – very good – I shall be back! I know what you mean about writing, this feels like I have penpals all over the world. And it involves no visits to the post office to mail letters – much better!
Congratulations and thanks for thanking me. I love stopping by here to see when wonderful book you have made next. You deserve all the awards you get.
Thank you! I look forward to reading your comments – as well as your blog!
Hi Diane : thank you so much for including me and its a pleasure meeting you thru Kim…… and yes, this is one of the nicest bunch of people I’ve met on the net (oh i love how that sounded ;) I love your blog and would definitely be coming back to read more :)
Thank you, Pearl, nice to meet you!
Although you are one of my Technorati favourites and I already read your blog! I think I spotted it through someone else’s but here you are! We all pop up all over the place don’t we – different names but the same faces and blogs!
