Much of a muchness

Things that make you go 'hmm'…

Good enough to eat?

These are the two books I was able to make yesterday because of my early start to the day. I think they are so cute, I just love these colours. I have avoided using coloured paper for pages before, but I like these so much, I shall do it again in the future.

I’m expecting another delivery of paper from Paper Mojo today and am so excited, I have now admitted I have a serious paper addiction. I really need to buy a plan chest to keep it all in so I can reclaim my kitchen table. I shall check out eBay I think. I have already checked out if there are any paper shopping opportunities in Los Angeles (a Paper Source in Beverley Hills – woohoo!) with no real consideration about the practicalities of transporting paper home at the end of my trip!

I had an e-mail from Claire in Los Angeles today – she is organising an English tea party for me on Sunday to meet her friends – tea, sandwiches, cake and trifle – the works! I wonder if the Beckhams will come….

Very nice. I think I like the one with the yellow pages better.

Also, I checked out the Paper Source website. It’s pretty nice and seems easier to navigate than the other sites I’ve visited with bookbinding supplies. Thanks!

I agree! The orange one is a bit hectic! They look nice together though.

Paper Source is very good, their international deliveries are very efficient too – much speedier than most. I am looking forward to visiting one of their shops.

Good! It’s good to know they are appealing. Gives me hope that when my web site goes live I might actually sell some to someone other than my family and friends!

My favourite art quote for you

“There are painters who transform the sun to a yellow spot, but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun.” – Pablo Picasso

Breathtaking beauty in these terrific colored books! I actually like the colored paper. Such daring creativity. Have fun in L.A. Your photo of Malibu brought back a memory of a few years ago when my son, who lives in L.A., and I walked the beach, smoked cigars, drank a few beers, and soaked up the sun and the love we share. Have a wonderful trip.
