Well, I have recovered from my nautical adventures and as I am so grateful to be back on dry land, I have made two books at once to celebrate. Both use the same spotted paper but with two different contrasting papers.

I also had cause to be cheered up by receiving a ‘Rocking Girl Blogger’ award from Miss Ladybug. Thanks you so much! I love the ‘Girl’ bit but after yesterday, not sure about the ‘Rocking’ – reminds too much of the boat!

As is usual with these lovely things I am passing it on and awarding it to:
These are all great blogs which I really enjoy.

I’ll be sure to check yours out frequently now that I know you’re here.
Your blog is full of inspiration! I am so glad I discovered it.
Diane, you see me blushing! This is my first award. Thank you for passing it on to me and your appreciation :-)
You are very welcome! Thank you for your comments and support.
Your blog is great – especially now I can read it!
firstly ….congratulations on your award….very well deserved Diane :)
I love the red circle/dots book…..and I like how you have used this paper on the inside of the other book…it must be fun to mix and match….. and the bows are like the icing on the cake.. :)
Hi..you make such such nice books. Amazing. Love all those you have shown in your blog. Enjoyed my visit. Will be back soon. Thanks for sharing.

Once again, thanks for the kind words! It’s all in the paper…nice paper, nice books follow. I am obsessed with buying paper. Now I just need to buy a plan chest to store it in…..

Glad you enjoyed your visit. I will tell Jenny you loved her boats – she will be thrilled.
I really like the second one as I’m always a sucker for the color red.
You and me both! I have so many red papers and I have to make myself use other colours sometimes!
I LOVE these, Diane! I, too, am, enchanged by graphic papers — well, to be honest, I love ALL decorativel papers. I, like you, have what I call “paper lust.” I used to feel guilty about my constant paper purchases, but then decided that, in the bigger scheme of things, it’s a fairly innocuous vice (except in the pocketbook, of course).

I know what it’s like.
There should be an organisation to help us. Paper Buyers Anonymous – except that Paper Mojo, Paper Source and Falkiners would probably go bankrupt without us and that wouldn’t be fair, would it?
I really need to get a plan chest to keep it all in, instead of letting it spread all over the kitchen table….
