Pete - I've watched the video several times now and when he hits the very high note in the middle of his song, I still get a lump in my throat! I went to Kings' College in Cambridge and listened to the choir there. The acoustics are exceptional and it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up - it's quite an amazing experience.

My dinner was good - even if I do say so myself :-D

Kim - I think it's the unexpectedness of his voice that gets me every time! I've since seen a TV programme which looked into his background and he is the head chorister in Carlisle cathedral choir. All the choristers said they get bullied and laughed at but they stick together and sing because they love it. Inspiring!

I love making bread. I use the 'No knead bread' recipe and it makes gorgeous bread every time. Yum!

Rohith - Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the paper sculptures and I too love to read about what inspires artists to create.

I'm glad you enjoy my photographs too - I do my best :-)

So much in one post! Here I go then:

- I feel like eating a second meal after reading the menu you prepared. Food is a great thing.

- I love the new coins! Something like that would never go over here in the states. I almost want to buy a set for framing!

- My mother-in-law told me about the kid in the video and this is the first time I've heard it. I share an office with another person and it was difficult to keep dry eyes, though I managed. What a great story. I wish the anger and brutality of the world would end. :)

SW - the book is very clever - actually I suppose technically it is two books. The books are very clever :-)
