I tend to agree! I have never been blonde and doubt I ever will! All I am gulty of is the odd dodgy perm or dubious haircut! I may go shorter but that about it!

Glad you like the books. I have made some with lined paper but it is trickier getting lined paper that is a) nice paper and b) the right size, so I tend to just use plain paper. I can buy ready made book blocks (insides) which have lined paper but this makes the book much more expensive.

Stay natural it looks better. I like the books you are making. Do you use them at all for journal writing?

Creechman - Hairmixer does it all automatically - for guys too. You too can have Brad Pitt's hair - or Kirsten Dunst's for that matter!

Mywoodenrobot - Way back in July I think, I took some photos of how these ribbon books are constructed and posted them on my blog. Basically you sew the ribbons onto the book block and then thread them through the cover. Glad you like them!

RennyBA - thank you! So there's no mad rush for change - that's what I needed to know!
I'll put it in my diary - what time? :-)

Paul - I think the past photos are a very scary - especially the early curly hairdo - what was I thinking? I'm not sure I'm brave enough to go very short again.I was living in Kuwait when my hair was that length and it was nice and cool...

I'm always glad to see you here, Bridget, as for men. They are all either married - or there is a very good reason why they are single! All the nice local men are taken so I keep having to have long distance relationships which is probably why they don't work out!

I will send you my e-mail address - I would love an invite!

Very nice diary with the cherry blossoms, Bridget likes!

Cute pics too dear.. so, tell me again.. you are not meeting men around you? With looks like this? Are you kidding me?!

Hey cheer up sweety, you've touched bottom, and you can only go up from here! It's a law of.. (fill in the blanks as you wish - reiki, scientology, nature, universe.. ;) ) And if you are a girl of the sun, Dubai's the place to be ha!

Thanks for your blog visit the other day. I'm welcoming visitors to my new diary, and you'd be a welcome one. Please let me have your e-mail and I'll send you an invite.

That is a lovely book and I especially like the print on the cover.

Excellent post, by the way. You looked good in all the pictures from the past. The short hair may be the way to go.

I'll have to check out that hairmixer site.

That's a beautiful journal! I just got into journal making. I"m still experimenting with techniques. How did you do the ribbon part?

I like the way you look right now, but understand the penchant for variety. You must have had fun WITH YOUR MAC cropping all those hair options together.

As for the rumor that men prefer blondes, unless its Reese Witherspoon or Kirsten Dunst or Maria Sharapova - I always go for brunettes.

I would, however, advise against the Lulu look at all costs.
