I tend to agree! I have never been blonde and doubt I ever will! All I am gulty of is the odd dodgy perm or dubious haircut! I may go shorter but that about it!

Glad you like the books. I have made some with lined paper but it is trickier getting lined paper that is a) nice paper and b) the right size, so I tend to just use plain paper. I can buy ready made book blocks (insides) which have lined paper but this makes the book much more expensive.

I like your hair the way it is too Diane….though I think the Meg Ryan look would look good on you :)
the worst thing about having short hair is keeping it short…
I had mine cut just before Christmas and my hairdresser will be visiting me again this week …

Creechman - Hairmixer does it all automatically - for guys too. You too can have Brad Pitt’s hair - or Kirsten Dunst’s for that matter!

Mywoodenrobot - Way back in July I think, I took some photos of how these ribbon books are constructed and posted them on my blog. Basically you sew the ribbons onto the book block and then thread them through the cover. Glad you like them!

Paul - I think the past photos are a very scary - especially the early curly hairdo - what was I thinking? I’m not sure I’m brave enough to go very short again.I was living in Kuwait when my hair was that length and it was nice and cool…

I’m always glad to see you here, Bridget, as for men. They are all either married - or there is a very good reason why they are single! All the nice local men are taken so I keep having to have long distance relationships which is probably why they don’t work out!

That is a lovely book and I especially like the print on the cover.

Excellent post, by the way. You looked good in all the pictures from the past. The short hair may be the way to go.

I like the way you look right now, but understand the penchant for variety. You must have had fun WITH YOUR MAC cropping all those hair options together.

As for the rumor that men prefer blondes, unless its Reese Witherspoon or Kirsten Dunst or Maria Sharapova - I always go for brunettes.

I would, however, advise against the Lulu look at all costs.
