Happy New Year, Jackie!

It will be great when it is finished! My kitchen table is actually usable again and if anyone drops in, the kitchen doesn't look like a bomb has hit it.

Rocco has just done his Tai chi - very soothing :-)

Diane,

Happy New Year!
Congrats on the new work space. It always feels good to have a little space to play in and not worry too much about making a mess and putting it all away each night.
I love your bunny. Perhaps I'll get one for my birthday. :)

Hi Gretchen, thank you! I'm glad you are enjoying my blog - that's just what I like to hear!

I use a variety of paper for the signatures. I mostly use a lightweight watercolour paper like Bockingford or a cartridge paper. I have also used coloured Canford paper and pastel paper. I have bought ready made book blocks for address books and album inserts but they are more expensive. Anything goes really as long as it's not too thick (less than 100lbs weight)

I am planning an Etsy store and my own website soon. Do you sell your books? have you a website? I haven't tried a stab binding yet - I must give it a go!

Thanks again

Hi Diane - You make lovely books. I don't remember how I discovered your blog, but I am throroughly enjoying reading it. I, too, make books as well - stab bound and coptic bound books. I was wondering what paper you use for the signatures/inside pages of your books. Are you currently selling your books online somewhere? Good luck with all of the reorganizing and with setting up your new work room.
Cheers - Gretchen

Thanks Ange! Happy New Year to you too.

Sorting this room has started off as a pre-Christmas-tidy-the-kitchen task and has escalated into a full blown-epic-re-vamp-a-bedroom task. The electrician has just left as the lighting wasn't good enough to work by so I now have track lighting with spotlights on it! Now I need storage for all the other paraphernalia....

LOL Diane... I have been sitting here grooving along with your song. I love it!!

Good for you... I am jealous... having your own room... what I would give for my own room!! Then again... they say, be careful what you wish for?

Happy New Year to you and it's great to see that you are starting off with new room and furniture. Go Girl!!

Astrid- thank you. I was very happy for most of last year - it just all went pear shaped towards the end! Let's see if we can make it right through the year and into next year this time :-) Have a very happy New Year too.

Kim - Sounds like it was a great party. I thought you had been a bit quiet. Recovering? :-)

Glad you like the music. Some tracks are just so danceable....
I think we should all get a Nabaztag rabbit - we could all send each other messages - what fun!

eBay is the answer but you have to be lucky - they still cost a fortune if you're not careful !

Getting it up to the top floor of my house (it has 3 floors) by myself was quite a challenge. Where are all the men when you need one? :-(
