your shopping experience sounds very jolly and it’s so nice when they give out goodies like that…absolutely the best way to put on those Christmas kilos..
I think it is afternoon over there when I am going to bed….and you were in the right place at the right time hehe
the arm’s not good Diane….but I will wait until after Christmas to visit the doctor….not my painting or typing arm thank goodness …but everything is taking twice as long…hehe that means I have got out of cooking over Christmas…not that I was offering …My Mum and brother are the experts in that area and they have given me the job of bringing the xmas bon bons :)

My number 2 son and I have just returned from doing the big Christmas food shop. Waitrose was insane and had actually run out of trolleys – eek! You couldn’t get at the food for people queuing to pay – but it was all very jolly – staff going up and down the queues offering sweets and cake – everyone in a surprisingly good mood.Now I just have to fit it all in the fridge :-)

I am making Christmas lunch for a vegan and a diabetic so it was quite a challenge catering for everyone – only number 2 son and me, who will eat whatever is going :-)

Thank you so much, I shall look forward to receiving the mystery prize – how lucky am I? I remembered the answer from reading your interview – and I think the time difference was in my favour :-)

3 sleeps until Christmas…and I haven’t finished my Africa Painting…(I’ve pulled a muscle in my shoulder turning the rotten painting…so I’m about to look it up on the web as I think it may be worse than I think….eek I’m left armless….
will stop waffling on about me…..have you got all your pressies wrapped? and the christmas cake cooked?

Life is so unpredictable at times, if you didn’t laugh – you’d cry :-) I haven’t seen that movie yet but if it is that funny, I’ll definitely put it on my list. Went to see ‘The Holiday’ thinking it would be a fluffy distraction but it was so ‘near to the bone’ it had just the opposite effect I need a laugh for sure :)

That is one of my New Year jobs – to turn a bedroom into my workroom so that I can reclaim my kitchen. This would be good for two reasons 1) My kitchen wouldn’t be permanently untidy and 2) As the new workroom would so far away from the kitchen (2 floors away), I wouldn’t be munching on biscuits and snacks all day long…. :-)

As for the tree, just finished, then the inevitable happened, I have just found the lights for the tree, untangled them ….. and they don’t work…..and I can’t find the packet of spare bulbs :-(
