I came back from LA staggering under the weight of paper I bought in Paper Source yet tomorrow, I am off up to London to check out some new paper shops I have been told about and to visit my old favourite, Falkiners, for some leather offcuts and other bits and pieces – and probably more paper!

The strength of the graphic really appeals to me. I must admit, ‘though, that my tastes can be quite schizophrenic. I enjoy very minimalist graphic styles and then turn around and fall in love with something soft and flowery.

I have a similar relationship to paper that you do. There are sheets that I’ve had for years, looking for just the right fit. I’m trying to move away from that, since there are always more beautiful papers to discover.

By the way, I like the changes you’ve made to your site. Good work!

I think the white bows make it elegant if they had been black then it would have been a dark book indeed!

I just noticed how I seem to give my books personalities. Oh dear, is this the first sign of madness? I will be talking to them next….
